Do you feel as if you have no one to talk to about your partner’s Sex Addiction? Are you too embarrassed to share your pain with family members or friends because you feat that they won’t understand? Most women who discover their partner’s secret life feel the same way. Unfortunately it is difficult for others to understand the distress and pain that we feel.
I remember when I found out about my Sex Addict husband’s thousand dollar a month prostitute habit. I was devastated! And, when I sought comfort from some of my family members, I was shocked at their reaction. Instead of comforting me I was told to immediately leave or told that if I were a better wife he would not be looking elsewhere. These reactions only added to my trauma.
That’s why I started this website and my membership Support Group website, The Sisterhood Of Support. The Sisterhood is just that, a group of Sisters (women) who share, support, comfort, encourage and understand each other during this time of chaos and crisis after their discovery of their spouses Sexual Addiction. The Sisterhood site is a warm, friendly place to chat, share or just read the topics and comments.
