It was a little cathartic writing this. Thank you.

We met in 1991. At first all we did was talk. I was just out of a relationship that had ended badly and I wasn’t looking for anything but friendship. Over the course of six months we talked about everything, from politics to our beliefs about relationships.

That ended and something else began when he asked me out on a date. I’m short and average looking. He’s tall and very attractive. I couldn’t believe he wanted to date me. We wound up moving in together. A few years later we moved to another state for his job. And then we moved again for his job. (more…)

Even After Recovery The Wounds Remain

I’m so glad to have found this website. My story is about how my husband has successfully managed his recovery from Sex Addiction, but the deep wounds that his addiction caused still remain.I have been married 8 years. Four years ago, my husband admitted to sleeping with prostitutes and strippers, as well as an enormous porn and sex chat addiction, during the first four years of our marriage, including during both of my pregnancies.

S’s Story, Don’t Ever Tolerate Their Behavior

I have attached my story. I was divorced June 27, 2011 because my ex filed for it.

I was married for 12 years to a man who had been very abusive towards me. When I first came into his life I didn’t know that he was sexually deviant.

When I was pregnant with our daughter I found an old phone bill that had 900 numbers on it in the amount of $2,400.00. I then found several pieces of paper with mail box numbers on it, giving the person’s sex preference, height, weight, & age. It would list their race and BF which stood for Black Female or Bi Female. April’s Story: It Was On Our First Tour Of Duty That I Learned Of His Sex Addiction

It began with him closing down internet browsers and looking suspicious when I walked into the room, and I eventually found charges on our account for Adult Friend Finder. He would lie about his internet activity, blaming the charges on a “favor” he was doing for a buddy who didn’t have access to a credit card (really?), and the porn account was in said friends name (yeah right).
